Im Husten- und Erkältungssegment gibt es in der aktuellen Kalenderwoche 48 im Vergleich zur Vorwoche einen negativen Trend mit einem Rückgang von – 8 %. Der Absatz bleibt mit – 38 % weiterhin deutlich unter dem Wert der Vergleichswoche von 2019. 

Auch in anderen Märkten kann eine verstärkte Dynamik bei Absatz und Umsatz im Vergleich zur Vorwoche bzw. 2019 beobachtet werden:

In der allgemeinen Betrachtung des Retailmarktes zeigt sich in den öffentlichen Apotheken und Hausapotheken in Kalenderwoche 48 ein Umsatzrückgang von – 6 % im Vergleich zur Vorwoche. Der aktuelle Umsatz liegt mit + 7 % nach wie vor über der Vergleichswoche von 2019.

Die Entwicklung des Absatzes der aktuellen Woche bleibt mit – 7 % unter dem Niveau der Vorwoche sowie des Vorjahres.

Die rezeptpflichtigen Produkte und das OTC & Homöopathie-Segment zeigen sowohl im Vergleich zur Vorwoche eine negative Absatzentwicklung von – 8 % und – 7 %, als auch von – 5 % und – 14 % im Vergleich zu 2019. Health & Beauty zeigt im Vorjahresvergleich weiterhin ein leichtes Wachstum von + 2 %, im Vergleich zur Vorwoche zeigt sich ein Rückgang von – 2 %.

Bei den Kassenrezepten, Privatrezepten und Selbstmedikationen zeigt sich im Vergleich zur Vorwoche eine negative Absatzentwicklung von – 9 % bis – 6 %. Auch die Entwicklung im Vorjahresvergleich verzeichnet Absatzrückgänge von – 4 % bis – 10 %.

Here you will find our newsletter on the current development of the pharmaceutical market in calendar week 48. 

In the cough & cold segment a decrease of – 8 % in calendar week 48 compared to the previous week can be observed. Volume is with – 38 % still well below the same week of 2019.

Increased market dynamics in volume and sales vs. the previous week and 2019 can be observed also in other markets:

In calendar week 48 sales of the retail sector show a decrease of – 6 % compared to the previous week. Current sales are with + 7 % above the same week of 2019 though.

In volume a decrease of – 7 % in comparison to the previous week and to the same week of 2019 can be observed.

The segment of prescription products and OTC & homeopathy decreased in volume by – 8 % and – 7 % compared to the previous week and are with – 5 % and – 14 % below the same week of 2019. The health & beauty segment shows a decrease of – 2 % compared to calendar week 47, but a slight increase of + 2 % compared to the previous year.

Health insurance prescriptions, private prescriptions and self-medication decreased from – 9 % to – 6 % in comparison to the previous week. All segments also show a decrease in the range of – 4 % and – 10 % compared to the same week of 2019.
